Title: Commercial Driver

Position: Wage Non-Exempt

SUMMARY: This position requires the driver make local deliveries to our retail locations in San Diego and Riverside counties.

DUTIES:

Provide Outstanding Customer Service
Represent J&W LUMBER in a professional manner, both on the road and off.
Daily inspections of Tractor and trailers
Inspect and secure load.
Deliver materials in a safe and timely manner.
Upon arrival at destination unstrap load and verify material delivered.
Assist in loading of store transfers.
On return to yard submit paperwork and prepare for next run.

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Must have current class A California drivers license with current medical card.
Experience a must, five years or more.
Acceptable DMV report.
Lumber experience a plus.
Able to lift up to 60lbs.
Experience with flat bed trailers

SUPERVISORY DIRECTION NEEDED: This position requires little supervision.
